Review: The Journey to Miel Patisserie

I was walking around Philly looking for cupcake spots with my brother and came across this place called "Miel Patisserie," a French pastry shop that has just about everything. I was so excited when I saw the French macarons in the refrigerated display case. I was literally jumping up and down with excitement, considering I had been searching for these for the longest time. I got every flavor that they had.

My favorite was the rosewater one. It was like a burst of flavor. It was so freakin' good! If you haven't ever had a French macaron, it's a meringue based confectionary made from almonds. It has a crunchy crust, is chewy on the inside and is either filled with ganache, buttercream or jam. They have so many gourmet flavors, it's definitely worth trying.
